About Us

“The NDIS is the new way of providing individualised support for people with disability, their families and carers. It empowers people with disability to choose and achieve their goals so they can have a better life.”

Own 2 Feet has chosen to enter this “vibrant new disability market place” to deliver services on a personal level to a limited number of families or individuals in a similar position to that of the director in the Gold Coast and Logan districts.

Own 2 Feet is owned and operated by a family with lived experience of disability on a daily basis. They are empathetic to the needs of families and are looking to work with families on a personal level to deliver funded supports particularly in the delivery of life education, daily living skills and work readiness.

We identify with and understand many of the dreams and fears parents of young adults with Autism, intellectual impairments and a range of other disabilities have for their futures. We hear you and will not fail to acknowledge your successes and the important role you play in ensuring your offspring (or you yourself) will be safe, happy and surrounded by support if/when informal supports become unmanageable at their current level.

We will work with you to build futures that are sustainable for yourself, your family, friends, community and for taxpayers.
